Gardening for Wellness: Rediscovering the Vast World of Pollinators and Beneficial Insects

Blanton House 700 Blanton Avenue, Richmond, VA 23221

(NEW for Fall 2025) Join us for a new CRC Community Workshop Series: Gardening for Wellness! Each Wednesday this fall, the knowledgeable team of instructors from Bloomistry Organic Living will lead us in a new workshop, complete with a take-home treat. During this session, “Rediscovering the Vast World of Pollinators and
Beneficial Insects,” students will learn about the vast world of pollinators and other beneficial insects that keep our ecosystems in balance. A hands-on workshop will proceed after the lecture where you will be able to make your very own native pollinator hive to attract beneficial solitary bees to your garden plot at home!

All CRC Community Workshops are free of charge, but advance registration is REQUIRED, as there is a maximum capacity of 15 participants for this session. This class will also include a special take-home treat: your own solitary bee hive!
