Redefining the survivor experience
Richmond area news outlet 12 On Your Side recently featured Cancer Retreat Centers, introducing the region to our groundbreaking concept and our founder, breast cancer survivor Kristin Harris, who envisioned a safe haven for those battling cancer and their families. Driven by her own journey, Kristin hopes to leave a legacy that offers support, solace, and strength to those facing similar challenges.
Richmond’s historic Blanton House is now home to Cancer Retreat Centers
CBS affiliate WTVR.com featured the transformation of Blanton House, our flagship retreat, into Cancer Retreat Center’s first location to welcome survivors in a resort-like environment outside of clinical settings.

The amazing television crew of Renovation Hunters, which airs on the Outdoor Channel, brought new life to a 150-year-old cabin on Blue Spring Farm, which serves as a CRC Overnight Destination Retreat. The bucolic farm is nestled in the mountains of southwest Virginia, along the Little River near the town of Snowville.

We collaborated on a video shoot with our Community Partners, Daddios Kitchen, a husband and wife duo who share nourishing and easy family meals on their website and Instagram.
